WOODPLAY PLAYSETS

From the 2011 Woodplay catalog: 

"Limited Lifetime Warranty on all Woodplay wooden playset components, swing hangers, swing chains, metal braces, metal rungs, hardware and our exclusive Super Slide and Alpine Slide.  Woodplay warrants to the original retail customer that we will replace any Woodplay wooden playset component suffering structural failure due to warping, rotting or insect damage.  This warranty does not cover knots in the wood, surface cracking or seasonal checking of components.  Knots, surface cracking and seasonal checks are a natural characteristic of all wood, including redwood, and will not affect the integrity of your playset." 

"5-Year Warranty on all Woodplay components and accessories that are not covered under the Limited Lifetime Warranty.  Woodplay will repair or replace, at our options, any Woodplay above-ground playset component which fails within five years after the date of delivery as a result of a defect in materials or workmanship."

Warranty service requirements:
1.  Customer must register the playset purchase at www.woodplay.com to be eligible for warranty.
2.  A copy of the original invoice must accompany all warranty claims.
3.  Freight and labor charges are not included.
4.  Woodplay reserves the right to examine photographs and/or the component itself - shipped freight prepaid by the customer - prior to potential replacement.

This warranty program does not cover normal wear and tear, or damages resulting from misuse, abuse, vandalism, alteration, acts of God, or assembly and maintenance contrary to our instructions.

GOALSETTER BASKETBALL GOALS

In general, Goalsetter provides a Lifetime warranty that covers all metal components, adjustment jacks, and backboards against structural defect.  Breakaway rims carry a 2 year warranty. 

In our experience (more than 19 years), there have been very few genuine warranty claims on Goalsetter goals.  Shattered backboards have been the most commonly submitted concerns (typically  fewer than 5 each year) and they are usually the result of vandalism or an accidental impact - (golf balls, rocks, delivery trucks) in which the impact point is obvious in the shatter pattern of the glass.  It is extremely rare that a backboard sustains damage during the course of play.

The other warranty item we occasionally encounter is the adjustment jack (again, fewer than 5 each year), however the warranty for the jack has specific maintenance (lubrication) requirements that must be kept up to qualify.

SPRINGFREE TRAMPOLINES

The warranty for Springfree Trampoline parts is:
    10 years - metal frame
      2 years - all rods and the jumping mat
      1 year - enclosure net

RAINBOW PLAY SYSTEMS

Most parts from prior year models are still available.  Part #'s or photos and part dimensions are helpful in identifying specific parts needed.  Some parts that are in the current model line-up may not fit prior year sets.

The warranty for a Rainbow Play System comes directly from the Rainbow Factory.  
The factory warranty time period has varied over the years, ranging from 1-5 years on accessories and from 10 years to Lifetime on the wood. 

The warranty is to the original owner only and is not transferable. 
Storm damage is not a warranty situation. 

The warranty covers parts only.  Shipping costs, delivery costs, and/or labor costs are not covered under the warranty and are the customers responsibility. 

Information required to submit a warranty claim includes:
1.  Proof of original ownership, including confirmation of the original year and model of the play system.  A copy of your original receipt is required.  If you purchased from Dream Play Recreation (formerly Rainbow Recreation - Chesterfield MO or Collinsville IL) we may be able to provide a copy of your original order for you.  Contact the showroom for assistance.
2.  Name, address, phone and email contact information.
3.  Evidence of the defect  - typically by photo (jpeg format required) - close enough to see the damage but also with enough perspective to be able to identify the part.  Multiple photos are acceptable.  Also include at least one photo of the entire set.
4.  Description and dimensions (particularly the length) of the parts needed may also be requested.

REPLACEMENT CANOPIES  - ALL PLAYSETS (including Rainbow Play Systems)
Replacement Canopies are available and are specific to the manufacturer, year, and model of your play system. 

To get the correct canopy, knowing the original year and model of the play system is extremely helpful. 
(If you purchased a Rainbow Play System from the Chesterfield or Collinsvile Showroom, we might be able to identify the set for you.) 

If this information is not available, measurements of the existing canopy may be sufficient.  If the canopy is missing, measurements can be made by wrapping a string from one end of where the canopy snap attaches to the other end, then measuring the length of string.  The other measurement will be along the tarp board from one end snap to the other. 

Replacement canopies are an order item, made to fit the specific play system.  Canopy orders will ship direct to your residence and typically take 2-4 weeks.  Adjustment of the canopy snap screws may be necessary to attach the replacement canopy.
